In other words, the AWE SQ5 Touring Edition Exhaust is the best of both worlds: SQ5. Unlocked: Featuring AWE’s drone-canceling solution: 180 Technology® Engineered around the SQ5’s specific Tiptronic tuning Direct bolt-on Gains of 8 hp and 9 lb-ft of torque to the crank X-Pipe for enhanced exhaust scavenging and improved tone Available with chrome silver or diamond black adjustable quad outlet 102mm tips Crafted from 2.5” T304L stainless steel No CEL Guarantee Fitment Guarantee Lifetime Exhaust Warranty Since there is no independent control of the valves (except “Sport” mode which changes a number of other things), the AWE 180 Technology equipped exhaust responds to driver inputs seamlessly, removing the need for valving. 180 Technology® is not the standard, typical approach to performance exhaust design. Through proprietary mathematical calculations, AWE engineers were able to create a sound cancellation resonator that definitively “turns off” the frequency where drone occurs. At the same time, while being able to squelch drone 100%, the resonator design is also providing a 100% straight through, full diameter flow for maximum performance. So, at part throttle, relaxed driving: zero drone. At full throttle, attack mode: straight up aggression (all with no power compromises). Just like a valved system. The Downpipes: When volume is your speed. Turn your SQ5 up to 11 with the AWE SQ5 Non-Resonated Downpipes. These handcrafted T304L stainless steel Non-Resonated Downpipes produce a distinctive, more aggressive sound when coupled with the AWE ® Touring Edition Exhaust (available separately).

    Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
