The SwitchPath™ Exhaust is comprised of handcrafted 3-inch and 2.5-inch U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel with a valved passenger-side tip outlet. SwitchPath™ retains the factory valve behavior and obeys the Golf R’s ECU commands based on throttle input, engine speed, and Drive Select. Sneaking out in the morning or creeping through town? Close the valve. Ready to rip? Toggle into Dynamic and your Golf R will sing a signature AWE tune with enhanced crackles that will provoke a firm grin. And we made it easy to convert between SwitchPath™ and Track Edition if you decide at a later date to change your volume with our Conversion Kit. Easy. AWE SwitchPath™ comes standard with 102mm double-walled, slash-cut tips in your choice of Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, complete with stamped AWE logo. If you're interested in push button mood control beyond what the factory wanted for you... you're in luck. The AWE SwitchPath™ Remote and accompanying control box (both sold separately) overrides the factory valving to allow the exhaust valves, whether it be on the AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust or the stock exhaust, to be opened or closed manually via the SwitchPath™ Remote. Please note, the AWE SwitchPath™ Remote overrides the stock valve control, meaning the exhaust must be opened and closed with the remote as desired.An exhaust for the hottest of VW’s hatchbacks - with options to suit every taste, and unmatched quality, fitment, performance and tone.

    Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.

Install went smooth and the power seems to be even better than advertised. Cant wait to get tuned in a few weeks. Their shelf tune honestly has to be 600+ hp as I pulled on a Hellcat last night. I see these guys and gals going a long ways if they can get out there and advertise. Customer service is on point paired with BIGGG savings for the winning combo.
