    Description

    Our exhausts have earned praise from owners and the press alike, due to their unique "Jekyll and Hyde" personality. We spend considerable time and effort during development to achieve remarkable civility when idling and cruising at part throttle, while also producing a war-cry wail when full throttle is applied. Sophisticated, refined, and powerful, all at once. We spent considerable time examining how to maximize the performance and options of this exhaust system. The exhaust features thick .065" wall T304L stainless steel tubing, double-walled exhaust tips to reduce heat discoloration, and perfect fitment, right to the OE downpipe (or any downpipe made to mate to the factory exhaust). The Cat Back system is topped off with our signature 3.15" beveled exhaust tips, in Chrome Silver. The tips sport stamped AWE logos and are double-walled to ensure a mirror polish even under hard usage. The system has multiple slip joints with high-quality stainless band clamps, to allow optimal adjustment.Why did we choose 2.5 inch and not 3.0 inch diameter for our MK5 exhaust? Our first prototypes of this system were indeed 3.0 inch, but we found that the effort it took to move the large mass of air in the 3.0 inch system at lower rpms resulted in a loss of torque with very little offsetting gain up top. Take a look at our 3.0 inch prototype dyno sheets here and see why a 3.0 inch system is not appropriate for this car.When upgrading your MK5, go with the team that started it all.

    Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.

Install went smooth and the power seems to be even better than advertised. Cant wait to get tuned in a few weeks. Their shelf tune honestly has to be 600+ hp as I pulled on a Hellcat last night. I see these guys and gals going a long ways if they can get out there and advertise. Customer service is on point paired with BIGGG savings for the winning combo.
