Engine movement (deflection) is wasted horsepower, and that power is yours! BMR's suspension wants you to take it back with its solid motor mounts for 1978-1987 GM G-Body. BMRs new motor mounts (MM461) are far superior to the bulky, rubber stock motor mounts, which are designed for comfort, not performance. BMR manufactures its MM461 solid motor mounts in its Florida facility from MIG-welded 3/16-inch plate steel.BMR's suspension designed the MM461 to be the perfect (100% bolt-in) motor mount for any power level or application (street performance, drag race, and road race) where engine deflection needs to be eliminated. The factory hydraulic motor mounts are designed to dampen engine vibration, giving you the smoothest and most comfortable experience possible. Unfortunately, this does little to limit engine movement. This deflection means lackluster throttle response, slower reaction times, and less accurate shifts in manual-equipped cars. BMRs MM461 solid motor mounts eliminate engine deflection. The elimination of the deflection leads to more power transferred to the tires, improving your driving experience on both the street and track. Less drivetrain movement means more accurate shifts as you row through the gears. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
