Description

This 2.5" diameter into dual 2" BORLA® Axle-Back system was developed specifically for the Mazda CX-5. Our Axle-Back system replaces the factory rear muffler and is a direct bolt-on product for ease of installation. The S-Type sound level has been tuned for the CX-5's 2.5L engine to provide a much sportier sound than the stock exhaust with no drone inside the vehicle. The system features single 4" round bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips on each muffler assembly. BORLA® Cat-Back™ & Axle-Back exhaust systems feature patented straight-through and multi-core technology to unleash hidden horsepower. Increased exhaust velocity adds power, driving excitement, fuel economy, and the distinctive BORLA® Sound of Power respected by motoring enthusiasts everywhere. Each system is built from premium, high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, superior to T-400 series knockoffs (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
