Description

This dual 3.5" diameter split rear exit Cat-Back™ system has active exhaust valves with a dual 3" diameter rear section for the loud path and dual 2" rear section for the quiet path. The system was designed specifically for the 4.4L M8 Gran Coupe. It contains a Merge X-Pipe for increased performance and improved sound. It also features our Polyphonic Harmonizer and SwitchFire™ technology. BORLA®'S Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. Completely eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, BORLA®'S patented SwitchFire™ design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a custom sound. It delivers the aggressive ATAK® Sound with no drone inside the vehicle. The exhaust exits via dual 5" round carbon fiber with black anodized center tips on each tail pipe. BORLA® Cat-Back™ & Axle-Back exhaust systems feature patented straight-through and multi-core technology to unleash hidden horsepower. Increased exhaust velocity adds power, driving excitement, fuel economy, and the distinctive BORLA® Sound of Power respected by motoring enthusiasts everywhere. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.

Install went smooth and the power seems to be even better than advertised. Cant wait to get tuned in a few weeks. Their shelf tune honestly has to be 600+ hp as I pulled on a Hellcat last night. I see these guys and gals going a long ways if they can get out there and advertise. Customer service is on point paired with BIGGG savings for the winning combo.
