The BORLA® R&D Team has developed an awesome sounding exhaust for the 1.6L in your K5. Our 2.25" diameter Cat-Back™ system is specifically tuned for the 1.6L engine. The classic S-Type system will deliver a sound that is much sportier than stock, yet still refined and far from obnoxious. Not to mention, a drone-free driving experience for comfort during cruising speeds. The muffler features BORLA®'S Polyphonic Exhaust Harmonizer technology which utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full bodied sound. System includes flow plate to eliminate check engine light that may be caused by the increase of airflow of the BORLA® system. System features a 2.25" turn down exit. BORLA® Cat-Back™ & Axle-Back exhaust systems feature patented straight-through and multi-core technology to unleash hidden horsepower. Increased exhaust velocity adds power, driving excitement, fuel economy, and the distinctive BORLA® Sound of Power respected by motoring enthusiasts everywhere. Each system is built from premium, high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, superior to T-400 series knockoffs (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.

Install went smooth and the power seems to be even better than advertised. Cant wait to get tuned in a few weeks. Their shelf tune honestly has to be 600+ hp as I pulled on a Hellcat last night. I see these guys and gals going a long ways if they can get out there and advertise. Customer service is on point paired with BIGGG savings for the winning combo.
