Description

This BORLA® Hydroformed SwitchFire® X-Pipe assembly is designed to replace the Original Equipment (O.E.) resonator. Installation REQUIRES cutting the Original Equipment (O.E.) exhaust. Install it by itself, or combine with other BORLA® parts. By using Hydroforming in the manufacturing process we are able to have a lower profile on this part than a conventional SwitchFire® X-Pipe. Part is 33.2" Long x 7.1" Wide x 5.5" High. Inlets 2.25” O.D., Outlets 2.5” I.D., Outlets are angled outward slightly. Includes 2) 2.5" clamps. Completely eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, BORLA®'S patented SwitchFire® design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance. The result is an aggressive custom sound and improved power. Built from premium T-304 stainless steel, superior to T-400 series (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. Ultra-smooth mandrel bends ensure maximum flow & power, and precision computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing ensures an accurate fit. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.

Install went smooth and the power seems to be even better than advertised. Cant wait to get tuned in a few weeks. Their shelf tune honestly has to be 600+ hp as I pulled on a Hellcat last night. I see these guys and gals going a long ways if they can get out there and advertise. Customer service is on point paired with BIGGG savings for the winning combo.
