Description

The 3" into dual 2.25" Borla(r) Cat-Back(tm) system was specifically designed to enhance the power and sound of the Ford F-150 equipped with the 5.0L engine. The dual side (passenger side) exit configuration replaces the single factory tail pipe, and has single 4" round bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips on each tail pipe. A system with black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips is also available. This system features Borla(r) 'S Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology which utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. This system is tuned for the aggressive ATAK(r) sound with no drone. Additional systems are available with different options for sound level, tip finish and tip exits. Add adapter 60556 for Crew Cab with Standard Bed (6' 7") 157.2" Wheelbase vehicles. Add adapter 60564 for Extended Cab with Long Bed (8' 2") 164.1" Wheelbase vehicles. Borla(r) Cat-Back(tm) & Axle-Back exhaust systems feature patented straight-through and multi-core technology to unleash hidden horsepower. Increased exhaust velocity adds power, driving excitement, fuel economy, and the distinctive Borla(r) Sound of Power respected by motoring enthusiasts everywhere. Each system is built from premium, high-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel, superior to T-400 series knockoffs (such as 409), to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. Ultra-smooth mandrel bends ensure maximum flow & power, and precision computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing ensures an accurate fit. All this is backed by our unsurpassed Million Mile Warranty. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
