Description

Edelbrock Rollin' Thunder Camshaft #3714 is designed for 4.3L 90 Degree V6 Chevy engines and produce optimum torque from the low-end to the mid-range. Rollin' Thunder camshafts match with Performer manifolds for vehicles operating from off-idle to 5500 rpm. They are smooth idling cams for daily drivers, trucks, vans, RVs and 4x4s. You can expect a major improvement in throttle response and torque. In the manifold section you'll find torque graphs showing the power gains from Performer manifolds and Performer-Plus cams. All camshafts include flat tappet lifters (except for cams designed for use with stock roller lifters), assembly lube and instructions. For use with OEM hydraulic roller lifters (use original lifters). Not for 1992-Later 4.3L balanced shaft engines. Requires aftermarket computer chip (not available from Edelbrock) for use with intake manifold #3713. Call Edelbrock Tech 800-416-8628 for info. Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
