    Description

    Whether you have a daily driven Vette or a built Mustang, proper oil temperatures are crucial for engine longevity and performance. Keep temperatures in check with the Mishimoto Oil Sandwich Plate with Rear-Mounted Thermostat. This high-flow sandwich plate is constructed from lightweight CNC-machined billet 6061 aluminum, providing unmatched precision and quality. The internal oil thermostat will restrict flow to the heat exchanger until the activation temperature is reached; this provides improved warm-up while maintaining efficient cooling properties. Thanks to a small footprint and rear-mounted thermostat, the Mishimoto sandwich plate can be installed in even the tightest engine bays where the exhaust or other engine components create strict space constraints. This sandwich plate includes two 1/8-inch NPT ports for use with temperature or pressure sensors. The included M22 X 1.5 sandwich plate adapter allows for fitment on various GM LSX vehicles and Ford V8's including the 4.6L, 5.4L, and Coyote 5.0L.     Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.
