Description

PRODUCT OVERVIEW QA1's tubular K-member for the 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird (F-body) is a significant front-end upgrade. Designed for reduced weight and increased clearance for headers and oil pans, the QA1 K-member makes a great upgrade for both street performance and track vehicles. It features lightweight, modular engine mounts, making LS swaps a breeze, and accommodates coilover struts or QA1's unique inboard spring sliders. HIGH STRENGTH, LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN QA1's engineers prioritized superior strength when designing this K-member. It reinforces the front-end unibody structure while optimizing weight savings. Shedding 32 pounds while increasing clearance and enhancing accessibility to the front of your car, this is an ideal upgrade. MODULAR ENGINE MOUNTS Choose from modular engine mounts (sold separately) that either allow you to reuse your existing small block engine and transmission combination or swap to a big block Chevy, or more modern LS and Gen V LT. QA1's engine mounts easily mount your engine directly to the K-member without any additional conversion mounts. Also look to QA1's transmission crossmembers & torque arms to make a driveline swap even easier! COMPATIBLE WITH SPRING SLIDERS OR COIL-OVER STRUTS This K-member offers the flexibility to be used with either coilover struts or QA1 spring sliders depending on your performance goals. Coilover struts, like QA1's adjustable Proma Star Struts, provide a significant performance boost with the ability to dial in ride height. Inboard spring sliders are another great option for those looking to achieve the perfect stance with greater negative camber while accommodating wider wheels and tires. It also helps maintain spring loads near the factory position on the K-member FITMENT NOTES Must use QA1 lower control arms Not compatible with factory coil springs Must use Coilover struts or QA1 Spring Slider Kit Engine mounts sold separately

Looks like I get to be the first review for these guys. Let me start out by saying that I have had 3 other cars of a similar caliber to my GTR serviced/worked on and upgrades installed at other shops and none took the pride and level of detail that these guys did. I wish I could see all the welds on the downpipes and exhaust because it looked like artwork. Their fabricator made sure to send me daily updates and pictures which was also a big deal to me. For being an out of state experience it made it seem more like they were local to me and that I had known them for longer.

- James Lowe

Took the leap of faith on buying a set of their R35 intakes and downpipes because the price was half of anyone elses plus their car hauls a** at the track. Install went smooth and the power seems to be even better than advertised. Cant wait to get tuned in a few weeks. Their shelf tune honestly has to be 600+ hp as I pulled on a Hellcat last night. I see these guys and gals going a long ways if they can get out there and advertise. Customer service is on point paired with BIGGG savings for the winning combo.

Bought a Motec and had these guys build the harness and set it up fully. Track car that received the level of attention and detail of a show car while here. Made me feel at home every time I popped in for a visit and always offered to buy me lunch/dinner. I don’t see me shopping anywhere else as they make you feel like your family.
